In the course of time we'll add useful answers to general questions in this Salmagundi.

  • Is there an alternative to E-Junkie/PayPal?
Yes, there is. Alternatively you can use KAGI for payments.

  • [ Butler ] - Will Butler become a commercial product?
We're thinking about this, and that's one of the reasons why the Leopard Butler is "transient".

But still, there are several ways of doing this. We could make it shareware which doesn't work at all as long as you haven't paid. We could make it crippleware, i.e., we could make certain features free and others paid-users-only. And we could stick with donationware, of course. As far as I know, Butler is one of the most successful (i.e., profitable) Mac donationware applications ever.

So right now, all I can say is: Please give us some more time to think about this.
And once we're done, we won't screw you (promised) -- if we go shareware.

  • [ File List ] - Are you planning to release a universal binary of File List?
Yes, we are. Thank you very much for your patience.

  • [ Service Scrubber ] - Using Service Scrubber for Safari.app and Mail.app can lead these apps to forget stored passwords. Is this true?
We've released a new version of Service Scrubber. Please read our latest web log entry for further information.

  • [ Witch ] - Will there be a Leopard version of Witch?
Yes. We'll release a new version of Witch, giving full support for Spaces, as soon as possible.
